Week Twelve
While I wish I could say I have harvested some vegetables already, my garden is not quite there yet, however, I am confident that I am going to get there soon and I am not giving up on these vegetables just because this class is over. I plan on tending to them up until August 18th when I move in, and then I'll find a way to transport them up to UF so that I can continue taking care of them at school. The upkeep of watering and fertilizing is not all that much of a time commitment so I definitely think it will be worth it to continue the gardening process long after this class is over. My cucumber has really shot up over the past couple of weeks and I keep thinking that it is just about to produce a cucumber but then it continues to grow. I would have to think that sometime in the next week or so it will definitely produce which I am very excited about.
